Job SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
Completion of ITIL, ITSM, PMP and/or other relevant certifications considered an asset
8 years progressive experience supporting/leading IT infrastructure and service delivery projects with an emphasis on project management and stakeholder/vendor relations
3 years’ experience in a leadership role managing human, fiscal & material resources combined with administrative/budget management
Knowledge of IT infrastructure design and operations, server technologies and operating systems, network design and support, cabling and switching systems, and cloud computing services
Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and change management procedures.
Proven experience in consolidating desktop imaging and application streaming functions.
Familiarity with academic and corporate software imaging and alignment with organizational objectives.
Expertise in delivering scalable enterprise-grade telecom solutions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Demonstrated ability to balance performance capabilities and cost optimization.
Experience in coordinating infrastructure maintenance, including vendor management and vulnerability management.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to provide leadership, innovative ideas, and transformative solutions.
Familiarity with IT architecture frameworks and planning processes.
Proven experience working in a secure environment, complying with security and compliance standards.

Position Summary

Centennial College is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Systems, the Manager will play a key part in aligning our information technology with our institutional goals while enhancing capabilities and providing seamless service delivery. As the IT Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager, you will facilitate collaboration among various IT teams, implement ITIL best practices for mature IT service management, and provide leadership to ensure a smooth transition from service inception to delivery. You will also be responsible for consolidating desktop imaging and application streaming functions, strategically aligning software imaging with academic and corporate objectives, and creating a more secure environment for our international recruitment offices. Additionally, you will manage and deliver a robust and scalable enterprise-grade telecom solution to meet our institutional needs.

Responsibilities

Facilitate collaboration across IT teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Implement ITIL best practices to mature IT service management processes.
Lead the seamless transition from service inception to delivery, following efficient change management procedures.
Establish cloud platform governance in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Integrated Services teams
Consolidate desktop imaging and application streaming functions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Strategically align software imaging with academic and corporate goals, supporting the agile work community.
Create a more secure environment for international recruitment offices, enhancing data protection and privacy.
Manage and deliver a robust and scalable enterprise-grade telecom solution to meet institutional needs.
Stay informed about the latest developments in server and network technologies to maximize performance and minimize costs.
Coordinate infrastructure maintenance, including vendor software patching and vulnerability management.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure future plans are supported by the IT infrastructure.
Provide input to IT planning and budgeting processes, ensuring technology spending remains within the plan.
Maintain an infrastructure architecture document aligned with the overall IT architecture framework.
Monitor and report on adherence to plans, offering innovative ideas and transformational solutions to improve business services.
